University of North Carolina Greensboro | Dining Hall Addition and Renovations

Greensboro, North Carolina

A $30 million renovation and addition to the existing dining hall on the main campus of UNC Greensboro.  Portions of the renovation involved structures dating back to the early 1900’s. New construction features include a new entrance to the building off of the campus courtyard and a monumental heavy timber structure over the center of the facility. A 60” storm drainage culvert was installed under the addition to carry the 500-year storm event and eliminate flooding potential of the existing building.
